I absolutely love this book. “One’s mental fortitude, one’s mettle, aligned with one’s will is the most formidable human attribute. The book throws out the myths and endeavors to find the common beliefs - and more importantly proofs - of what lies beyond physical death. This list a a delight to read and ypu will keep going back to it to discover more about Scottish birds from the tiny Goldcrest to the huge White-tailed Eagle. but, part of me also would say that this is perfect as is. This book (1972 - rather old by most standards) is very depressing be cause of what Prof. But during the evolution of the novel I found that I just LOVED how they all lived and hung out with each other. I hope it will be very widely read and used.
