I know Ian Patrick, personally, and I can say he is a man who is always intending to walk what he talks, often taking unique leaps of faith that others only talk about but never do. They create a whole new world of animals who bound with humans. As it was, fuelled by violence, hatred, sex and drugs and power he became a legend for all the wrong reasons and one that was ultimately despised by those to whom he played puppet master. After a couple of days carrying this book around with me I had actually finished reading the whole thing. If you're an admirer of his work or just interested in modern and contemporary art (European), then this is something you'll want to add to your library. It's not a quick and easy read, not a thriller, but neither is it difficult and it rewards the reader with startling depth. He remarks on the similarity of Star Wars' Yoda's phrasing and that of the Tao Te Ching. It helped me over the last hurdles of my effort. Looking forward to reading it.
